Bloxorz is a brain twisting puzzle game of rolling blocks and switching bridges. You'll be rolling round in circles over the course of the 33 levels. Yes, they are all possible to finish...
The bug-heads are launching a revolution, and its up to you to stop them. Destroy all the bugs in this bloodthirsty first-person shooter and save the world from being overrun!
This is a Flash animation of general crazyness. Whenever I listened to this certain Fantomas song I always imagined a little guy running away from things, and so it was made.
Created this 15 Second Advert for 'V' Energy Drink in 3D animation class in first semester 2008. We had to create a 15 second long ad to promote the drink based on either a tennis court or a basketball court.
Current version of this dxinteractive.com website - see here for details how it was put together.
A website made for a games company run by some friends of mine.A couple of 3D animated logos to be used as intro clips for Pub Games.
Secheron Peak is the name I work under when making electronic music. Perhaps it's a mix of breaks, glitch, post-rock and downtempo electronic? This website is for my Secheron Peak music project - which features a modulating electric / lightning effect in the title depending on the song being played in the embedded Soundcloud players.
A few techniques for simulating 3D using 2D game engines, complete with interactive examples.
Electricman is back, and is now entering one of the fiercest fist-fighting competitions in the stick man universe. Fight mulitiple opponents with a whole new array of slowmotion moves to make it to the top - and to survive.
This is a puzzle game with a simple objective - get the silver sphere into the vortex in each level. However, you must make it through some fiendishly puzzling situations to get there. Finishing the game is not as easy as it may seem.
Finished this for a Flash class in 2010. The brief was just an animation in Flash longer than 30 seconds that included a walk cycle. Mine's about some lanky grey guy getting ready for work.
This was created as the introduction sequence to an instructional skateboard trick video made on skateboard-city.com. Done entirely in two days, made some textures, rigged up some legs, built a skateboard and animated it. Simple enough.
Skateboarding trick reference infographic. The animations were once used on a skate dictionary website I had in 2006 - found them and decided to put them to use as a series of animated gifs.
Third version of this dxinteractive.com website - more traditional content layout with animated title elements on page change.
Second version of this dxinteractive.com website - ambient spacelike 3D environment with minimal UI elements.
Got to do the soundtrack to an awesome little animated short called 'Happy Happy Yay Yay'. It's a quirky combination of 808s, C64 noises, bleeps, bloops and squeaks timed to whatever was going on on screen.
Ever felt like flying a remote control seeker missile down a huge tunnel avoiding rotating obstacles? No? Well thats the idea behind the Missile Game 3D. Insanely fast and addictive, its a great test on your reactions.
Controlling crime can be a very difficult job - especially with felons like you around. Fly your jet craft down the freeway at wild speeds. Your aim is to destroy the tanker trucks without crashing into the oncoming traffic.
This was created for a multimedia class in 1st semester of 2007. Its an animated advertisement to promote an 'iPod skin' which was designed earlier in the year, and was a relatively quick task.
This was made for my Graphic Design class in Year 12. Following the theme of a hoverboard advertising campaign, this was the video ad for the new hoverboard. All 3D graphics and music was self made.
This was the original Roboman animation, created as my major project for computer graphics in Year 12. The original character started as a drawing for a potential flash game. The idea expanded from there and grew to the final product you see here.
First version of this dxinteractive.com website - stupidly over-the-top animated page transitions and sound effects, but I guess that was the rage back then?
Ridiculous ufo-fighting arcade game, made in a gamejam where everybody had 24 consecutive hours to create a game from scratch. Lots of fun to make, prepare for some crazy, hastily-made UFO mayhem.
Under the alias "Echo Nine", I set out to write and produce a synth-driven electronic album in seven days - one song per day. In reality it took nine days to complete. You can listen to how it turned out on the myspace music page. The album is also available for free download from there too.
